Intuitive, Integrative, & Holistic Healing

Welcome to our Therapeutic Library!

Below we have included detailed information on all the modalities in which Chloe is trained.

Why?

Because Chloe specialises in providing an intuitive, integrative, and holistic approach to healing.

What does that mean?

Intuition is our internal guidance system, or inner tuition. In a philosophical sense, it is pure, untaught, non-inferential knowledge. Our intuition arises from within the unconditioned inner space of pure existence (the Being), and offers something deeper than intellectual and conceptual understanding. Intuition is a heart based knowing of the truth. Chloe connects with her own intuition, and assists you in connecting with yours, in order to co-create the ideal healing session with you, rather than for you.

Integrative healing is founded on the understanding that we are multidimensional beings, and that no single therapeutic practice is capable of addressing the entire being, therefore we must integrate a variety of of therapeutic tools, techniques, philosophies, and understandings in order to address the individual holistically. Below you will find that Chloe has trained in a number of Complimentary Therapies that can be integrated into your healing session depending on your needs, preferences, and intentions for your session.

Holistic healing is founded on the understanding that the various systems and aspects that make up a human being, although often viewed as separate in typical western healing models, are intricately interwoven, and the health or dis-ease of one will always impact the others. Therefore, it is vital to address all aspects - mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and energetic - collectively (holistically), rather than separately if we desire to effect any real or lasting change.

In short, Chloe intuitively combines various therapeutic techniques and philosophies from a variety of Bodywork, Energywork, Yoga, and Meditation practices to address the Being as a whole (Mind, Body & Spirit), by honouring what is alive for you in the moment, and your personal preferences. SO, by providing you with as much information as we can about your therapeutic options, we put you in the best position to make informed decisions about your care with us.

What is Bodywork?

The term Bodywork applies to any therapy or healing modality that focuses on the manual manipulation of the physical body. It is an ancient and holistic therapeutic practice that brings about physical, mental-emotional, and spiritual balance by influencing the various systems contained within the physical body (Muscular, Skeletal, Nervous, Lymphatic, Cardiovascular, etc.), and calming the conscious mind. Bodywork helps to re-build our Body-Awareness, or Body-Consciousness, by bringing our awareness out of the head and into the body. This is vital for understanding ourselves, and how we can heal.

The body is an incredible messenger, acting as a bridge that connects the physical and non-physical aspects of Being. Our daily physical activities, the way we carry ourselves, our aches, pains and sensitivities, all have the ability to empower us by alerting us to the imbalances in our lives, imbalances that are perhaps even mental-emotional, or spiritual in nature. Treating the body can directly address, or bring our awareness to and help us understand, the root cause of our dis-ease, allowing us to uproot it. Bodywork has the capacity to play a vital role in the promotion and maintenance of our health and well-being, and should be considered part of a regular Self-Care routine.

What is Energywork?

Energywork refers to any therapy or healing practice that focuses primarily on the energetic body. Founded on the premise that everything in the universe, inanimate or animate, is made up of the same base energetic substance, often referred to as Universal Life Force Energy or Spirit, and that foundational energy is what brings life to the universe. Energywork is the practice of tapping into that universal life force energy, either by channelling it into the body to promote healing and bring about balance (Reiki), or by using elements such as sound, crystals, or touch to influence the energy within and surrounding an individual for the purpose of healing or bringing about balance.

Although Energywork focuses on the energetic body rather than the physical, many Energywork practices are touch-based. The body is a bridge between the physical and the energetic. Energetic imbalances often express themselves through the physical body to get our attention. Acupressure involves the application of gentle finger pressure to points along the Meridians (energy channels) to effect the energy flow within them, Reiki involves the laying of hands on various parts of the body to channel higher vibrational energy into the body and remove blockages, Reflexology involves the manual manipulation of reflection points found on the hands, feet, and ears that are energetically linked to the various organs and systems within the physical body, even Yoga uses physical postures to open up the energy channels and improve the flow of energy throughout the body.
